Prayer for Hope in a Hard Season | Romans 15:13 Morning Prayer

Hope in the Bible is not wishful thinking. It is an anchor that holds when the water is rough, and Paul prays that God Himself would fill us with it.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. (Romans 15:13)

This prayer is for a heavy week or a long season. We read Romans 15:13, hear the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, stay with the mercies of Lamentations 3:21-23, and hold on to Hebrews 6:19. Then we pray for hope in our waiting, hope in our hurting, hope for the people we love, and hearts that can praise Him again.

Scriptures: Romans 15:13, Jeremiah 29:11, Lamentations 3:21-23, Psalm 42:11, Romans 5:3-5, Hebrews 6:19, 1 Peter 1:3 (KJV)
