Armor of God Prayer | Put On God's Armor Before Your Day Begins (Ephesians 6)

Paul wrote Ephesians 6 from a prison cell, and he did not tell us to fight harder. He told us to stand, and to put on what God has already provided.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11)

In this prayer we go through the armor one piece at a time: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, shoes of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit. Along the way we remember John 8:32, Romans 8:1 and James 4:7, and then we pray ourselves into each piece together.

Scriptures: Ephesians 6:10-18, John 8:32, Romans 8:1, Isaiah 52:7, Romans 8:38-39, James 4:7 (KJV)
